75 in Denver. In January. God must be very happy with the mile high city this week.
For the past year, I’ve been so lucky to get to stay home with my girls two days out of the week.
I work the other three days at Jake’s Carpet Cleaning, and one day a week Jake stays home for his “Papa day,” so the girls are just away at an in-home day care 2x per week.
It’s been so nice. Even though I usually have too many errands to run and to-dos, I try to spend at least 1-2 hours being totally present and having fun with the girls.
Today, we were able to make the most of our free time and just enjoy the beautiful weather while playing with some chalk. We did a quick “bow-drop,” my term for the meet up with my seamstress at Panera, and even stayed after for “way too much sugar:” a cinnamon roll as big as Addie’s head and a carrot cake muffin.
They totally look like two little french girls today, and I loved it.
And we filled up a little more of our instagram wall. 🙂
enjoy your kiddos today. now i hear them screaming – nap time must be over. lol – hillary
